Several area law enforcement agencies have raised a little more than $3,500 in funds for a new therapeutic day camp for youth in the region.
Camp Autumn will be opening in June in O'Brien county. It will accommodate youth aged 4 to 21.
The Buena Vista, Clay, O'Brien, Osceola and Sioux County Sheriff's Offices, along with the Lake Park, Sheldon, Sioux Center and Spencer Police Departments raised the funds which will be used for scholarships for incoming campers. The money was raised through the Cops for Camp Campaign.
