The Lake Park Care Center has a new name and new management. The facility that for years been known as the Lake Park Care Center is now called Pearl Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. The change in name, according to Administrator Cathy Birkeland, reflects the changes in their overall resident care and community outreach initiative.
Below is a letter from Pearl Valley:
Dear family, friends, and colleagues,
We are writing to inform you of some new and exciting changes taking place at our facility. As you may know, we recently changed the name of our facility to 'Pearl Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center' to reflect the changes in our overall resident care and community outreach initiative under our new management team. As always, we are located 1304 South Market St Lake Park, IA 51347 and we are proud to continue to offer short term rehabilitation and long term care along with our increasing scope of services.
Our new management team has begun to make changes far beyond the superficial name change; they've started to revolutionize the overall operations of the facility with the primary focus being patient care. As a facility, we truly strive for excellence and a higher quality of life for all of our current residents as well as all future residents. We already feel change in the air and we truly believe that these changes will not only continue to have a positive effect on our residents but will allow us to better serve the needs of our community at large.
